Hello Torsten,
It is a very good question you posted here, “How to learn English?” Yes, everyone of us has his own way of learning. My favorite methods is learning English in a course with a good teacher and good students. I like both online and face to face courses. I also like watching movies and listening to radio. I can say that I have tried all methods you mentioned. I think the work best for me is giving me opportunities to practice, to do homework, to learn new words, to learn grammar, etc. I like learning English through discussions like this site. The more I use English the more I learn it. Thank you very much for your question. I have just done a small work, answering your question in English.
Best, Hoa |

Hello Torsten, In my opinion the best and easy way to learn language is listening. When we are listening it penetrates into our beings and later we use it like ours. Of course it's important who is talking? I like British pronunciation. Almost every day I'm reading.
Thank you, Allaminna |

Hi!!
I learn English by reading magazines, newspapers, novels and plays. By reading I really improve my vocabulary and grammar. I also listen to the national radio, watch movies and listen to cassettes. I find it helpful to both ways. From now I will follow Torsten advice may be I will improve better.

Hello teacher Torsen,
Your voice is nice, and you speak English clearly. There is one thing I would like to ask you. How do I know my writing has mistakes or not. I mean if a student writes an essay, a message, etc. How he could know if there is any mistake in his writing? I am asking you this because I want to improve my English from my mistakes. But the problem is I dont know my mistake, if I know I wouldnot make it. Can you tell your students, like me, if I make mistakes in my writing in this forum.
Thank you. Hoa |

| Hi everybody. To learn english faster I decided to download BBC's audio files which I listen to everyday.I watch news at Voice Of America in order to improve my listening skill.I subscribe to english website like www.anglaisfacile.com, www.english-test.net. Torsten, I'm living in a milieu where everybody speaks french so I don't speak english at all.Sometimes when I want to talk with a native english speaker I lose my words, my sentences are not coherent. So Torsten I want you to give me some advice which could help me to be fluent in english.Best regards.DIDIER |
