Do you agree or disagree ? Childhood is the happiest time in a person`s life. Include reasons and examples to support your opinion.
There are many instances/MOMENTS OF OUR LIVES in which we feel very happy. There are parts of our lives in which we saY that this is everything that we need and this is the best time of our lives. HOWEVER, if we think about it for a second, we will conclude/COME TO A CONCLUSION that the happiest time of our lives is when we ARE children. In this period everything is easy, the life is pink/COLORFUL and we are so carefree. I definitely agree with the statement that childhood is the happiest time of a person`s life because of two reasons.
Firstly, when we are children we are light-hearted. We have no problems and everything around us is so simple. There is nothing to care about, nothing to to try to achieve, we only think about PLAYING games with OUR friends and entertainments. And these are the things which make this part of our lives so beautiful. I have many memories of my childhood which make me feel so happy and which make me want to be a child again. For example, when I was a child, I USED TO PLAY DIFERENT GAMES WITH MY FRIENDS every day, such as playing with dolls, hide and seek, making shows for our parents by singing songs, dancing, etc. The third one was very interesting because IT HELPED US learn how to dance, how to memorize songs, HOW to play with hoop etc. These shows made our parents very proud of us. I cannot forget it. These are things which make the childhood so special, full OF memorable/VIVID memories. Everyone has his private stories FOR this part of his life, which remind him of the happiest time in his life- childhood.
Secondly, when people are children they do not care about anything, they want to know many things about the world. Children always ask their parents about different things and it is very interesting for them because THEY ARE new and unknown. They are very inquisitive and this makes them so sweet. For example, when my sister was a child she wanted to know everything. She always USED TO ask QUESTIONS ABOUT DIFFERENT OBJECTS THAT SHE USED TO SEE AROUND HER. One day she came to me and asked what the thing behind us WAS. It was a statue and I explained IT to her. She CAME NEARER to the statue? and wanted to know MORE ABOUT it. She begAn to talk TO it. It was so cute. This is one of thousand moments which will remind us how beautiful the world IS when we are children. We understand that childhood is the happiest part of a person's life. In conclusion, childhood is a remarkable part of everyone's life. When we recall it, we want to be children again, to HAVE A happy life, AND to be free. Because of these reasons I can say that there is nothing so beautiful than childhood. THEREFORE, LET'S take care OF our children and give them the best chidhood that they need. They deserve it. ----------------------------------------
Hello Joanna, I have edited your work, and tried to correct your mistakes. I hope you like it. Please, do not begin your sentence with 'And', 'But', 'So', etc. Good Luck! TOEFL listening discussions: Two seminar classmates discussing their classwork |

| Leenda, is this type too detailed to a piece of essay? Will it lose some marks in the test? |
No doubt it is more than 350 words. However, if it is without any grammatical mistakes, nobody is going to deduct any marks. What you are supposed to do is to write an essay which is totally clear and shows your point of view. Still, ask other people about it. |
