Today, sports professional are very good paid in comparison with other people who work in other important professions. Some believe that this is fair for them to earn greater amounts of money than the other professions, while some believe that it's not justified completely. These two points of view are discussed below and some reasons are expressed, too.
scientific researches show that sportsmen and women deal with great physical dangers such as tensing and bone breaking. Much greater dangers doing a profession contains, more money must be paid to the one who deals with it. While a soccer player can suffer from tendon-tearing and may be away from challenge for months, he must be paid larger amounts of salary, because his absence may cost heavy for the team.
Most of successful sports professionals owe their high salary to their fame. Actually, I think that after famous actors and actresses, successful athletes are the most known people in world, and famous people are to be paid more than others. Although, it seems unfair in some cases, but it become as and unwritten law that professional sport and fame are two major factors which can make someone earn more.
In recent years, people who work in other important professions have been paid less in comparison with the sportsmen and women with the same or less years of work. This is kinda unfair due to the hard thinking and working some jobs, such as the ones in the field of engineering, involves. This will lead to more young people prefer to be a professional athlete than being involved in scientific subjects.
According to the reasons mentioned above, I think that it's not unfair for successful athletes to earn higher, although it is not fully justified. While an architecture can design a very beautiful and fascinating home or stadium, but a sportsman who uses that home or plays in that stadium earns much greater, it justifies the subject to some extent, but not completely.
