Hello! if you have any feedback on this essay I would really appreciate it! Thanks
Many people believe that the period of their lives in which they were the happiest is their childhood. However, I strongly disagree that this is true for everybody. Although usually children are less stressed than adults, there are many reasons why they can be very unhappy and adults very joyful. On the one hand, children usually have a lot free time to play and only enjoy the simple things in life. They normally are not aware of the difficulties their family might be facing and have few things to worry about. On the other hand, they might perceive the worries of the adults and consequently, suffer a lot. When you are young, you have no experience in dealing with problems and many times children do not know how to express their fears and insecurities. For instance, they might be bullied at school and because of this feel weak and unworthy, hiding these feelings for a very long time. Besides, adult and senior life can also be spectacular to many people. When you grow, you have more power to change things you do not approve of and independence to choose your own path. For example, many women claim that their best moment in life was the birth of their children or their marriage. People can achieve success in their careers and learn how to enjoy life more wisely. Furthermore, adults tend to forget their sad memories as a form of protection. They will remember only the bright sides of their childhood, such as their games, adventures and friends, repressing all the negative things they have been through. Even though it seems awkward, this happens more frequently than one can imagine and this can only be noticed after a deep soul searching. Finally, I firmly believe that since each one has experienced many different things in life, each person might have been the happiest at a particular age, depending on how one has been facing life.
