Hi Chris, welcome to the forums.
You write well, with good spelling and punctuation. Your essay is well structured, though general advice is that you should try to include at least 3 main points, not just two. There is evidence of wrong word choices/endings and missing articles which you need to be attentive of, for example:
To begin with, in modern society, with the high-speed development of THE economy, the life path WAY OF LIFE is also speeding up. Under thESE circumstanceS people become busy and rush, they endure strong burdenS from everyday's hard work EVERY DAY. But at the same time people from all over the world communicate with each other become increasingly frequently WITH INCREASING FREQUENCY. To be polite to others can make communication easier. A smile can always make you feel warm despite your country, age, educationAL background and so on. Politeness represents one's quality especially for the ones THOSE who accept ENTER higher education such as graduate students of universitIES. If a graduate student has a rough manner, even if he or she has high scores in university, he or she cannot succeed.
Sorry about the capital letters - it's the quickest, easiest way of highlighting changes. A couple of points to note from that paragraph:
Don't start sentences with 'but', 'and', etc in formal essays. You may lose marks. Google the difference between connectives and conjunctions to see which words you should/shouldn't use.
Every day (a two word expression) means daily/each day. Everyday ( a one word expression) actually just means ordinary or commonplace. Although both would make sense in your essay, your phrase as you wrote it sounded odd.
Finally, you will find very useful advice on essay writing here. and here. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
