ebullient
Cheerful and full of energy:
she sounded ebullient and happy
(of liquid or matter) Boiling or agitated as if boiling:
misted and ebullient seas

rabid
Having or proceeding from an extreme or fanatical support of or belief in something:
a rabid feminist
(of an animal) Affected with rabies; of or connected with rabies

I think they are worlds apart.
