@RickyRocky - 'buttocks' is plural because you have two! (bottom cheeks) You can also speak about one buttock.

These two, "flummoxed" and "tad", don't make sense. "a lot" should be used instead of "a tad".

To bewilder someone or confuse them greatly, yes... but there are still degrees of confusion within that.
The usage makes perfect sense.
'flummoxed me a tad/a little' indicates less confusion than 'flummoxed me considerably/a lot/a great deal'. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
