Topic: Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in?
Essay:
Many people are fond of living in a small town due largely to the quiet space and the good environment. However, I prefer to live in metropolitan areas. In my perspective, living in a big city has some advantages such as job opportunities, services and entertainment.
The first advantage of living in a big city is to be easy to get a job. The big city is the central commercial and economic area. Therefore, almost companies and their branches gather in the big city and offer a lot of works, ranging from blue-collar jobs to white-collar jobs. This is the most important to me because I can choose a suitable job to develop my career.
In addition to job opportunities, living services also attract me to reside in the urban area. Everyone finds that the best schools and the best hospitals are built in the urban area. Thus, if you do not live in the big city, you cannot get the best education to accumulate knowledge and skills, and you also cannot receive the best health-care to protect your health.
Last but not least, in the urban area, there are a lot of entertainment locations such as cinemas, sport stadium, swimming pools and theme parks. Besides getting a good job and receiving best living services, people always demand such entertainments to relax themselves. Moreover, the big city usually holds for events like cultural events, concerts and exhibitions. And if I do not settle in the city, I cannot enjoy such events because of much waste of money and time to get the city from a small town.
In conclusion, I like to enjoy in the metropolitan circumstance. There are more opportunities to get a good job, better living services, and more amusement to rest the life.
