Advantages of promotions based on performance or seniority We are living in a fast changing world where organizations carry out new patterns. Majority of organizations promotes according to performance. On the other hand,minorities do according to seniority. To better understand the advantages of each position, we need to look over both sides closely. First of all, some organizations,companies promote based on work year in these company. The most important advantages of this pattern that a person who promotes to new job, knows this company's notion. In other words, he or she knows how to do job. To give an example to better grasp this pattern,there could be a substantial number of employees in the company or organization. If we do survey about how many person have worked for these company in 10 year or more, Only 10 percent of these company's employees have been working for. These workers are working in high position. Because they started to work there as an intern or technician, they learned how their company product their goods or what is the possible problems in these job.They have already faced with various problems in their field and solved them. In brief, Promotion based on seniority is significant to become most well-known organization in world because senior workers know each step in their companies. Secondly, Getting involved in new job based on performance has many advantages for organizations. The most monumental of which is that these companies could increase their profits fast. The reason is that while people obtain new job according to their performance, we should choose the best of whom. Therefore, successful workers could work for these company in each important position. They know that if you want to promote better job,they must the best in their field. As a result , companies or organizations could improve their goods or service. All in all, some companies prefer to promote people based on seniority because of the fact that seniors have more experience,which is the most important key to be successful. Others prefer based on performance due to the fact that they could promote the best workers for this job. The bulk of people think that people promote based on performance because it is fair and the best way to improve qualities of companies or organizations.
