hi, I figured, that I have answered the questions correctly, but "score me"..tells me that the question was incorrect.???????....

Since all vowels are short in Spanish, the wrong pronunciation of these sounds in English often leads to all sorts of confusing or comical situations. So, be careful to pronounce a long ‘i’ sound in ‘peace’ :) .

Isn’t this also a lesson of life’s intricacies: an Iraqi girl teaching some of us a locution with the word ‘peace’?

PS: College girl, if you ever come back to this forum: did you make it to the UK, by any chance?
