Young adults should start living independently or live with their parents?

In technologically advanced era of 21st millenium, youngsters are often more educated and advanced than their parents were. Generation gaps are increasing in today's scenario. Children prefer to start living independently as soon as they approach adult age. Personally, I think that young adults should live with their parents for a long time because of the following reasons.

To begin with, living with parents puts a high value on them. It helps relationships to grow stronger. The parents manage to take care of us till we are able to take care of ourselves. They teach us everything regarding life and protect us from adverse situations. So it should be our prime duty to give everything we owe to them. If we do not take care and live with them, we will have to face the same situation in our old age.

Secondly, young adults can get a better advice from their parents in case they need it. Parents have more life experience than us. They love their children to bits and pieces. So they will never misguide their children. There are certain situations in life where experience counts much more than knowledge. For instance, consider a situation where a young adult wants to start his or her own business. It is not possible to work independently without the advice of an elder person.

Beyond the issue of respect and advice, living with parents provides a great help to young adults. Parents can take care of their children when they are busy with work. Furthermore, it is more economical as they do not need to send their children to day care centers. Children feel more comfortable with their grandparents and the same holds true for elders. Elders can teach stories and rhymes to children in their free time.

To summarize, living with parents is must for every young adult in my view. It is a way to show how much we respect our parents. Young adults can share the experiences of their parents. When they have kids, they can feel free to keep them at homes as they know that they are in safe hands.
