right or wrong? #1 (permalink) Tue Feb 08, 2011 16:10 pm   right or wrong?

Hello :)

Please help me fix the following sentences.

A: Whatever results from act is irrelevant. (This sentence sounds off to me. What about if I say it this way:"Whatever the results of the act are, is irrelevant", is it right?)

B: Remember, this rule is mandatory and inadequate. (This sentence doesn't make sense to me. What about if I put it this way: Remember, this rule is mandatory although inadequate. Right?)

C:He is inquisitive but very discursive. (Can we use discursive to describe people?)

Thanks
Nie

In sentence A I would just add the article the before the word 'act'. Result from means be caused by or contrarily to result in.
