You said the correnct answer is bacon, what if I decide to put ham?

Hello Lujina,

To bring home the bacon is a set idiomatic phrase meaning to receive an income with which to pay the bills, etc.
This test, as you will see from the title, tests knowledge of 'English slang idioms'.
If you use 'ham' then the idiom would be incorrect, so your answer would be incorrect too.
