In Japan, we usually describe it as a "supermarket" in Japanese.

How do you say it usually in your country?

A supermarket ?
A grocery store?
A grocery supermarket?
A Kmart?
A discount store?
or something else?

In the UK - a supermarket, though more often the supermarket name is used instead.

(K-mart is one particular US supermarket, isn't it?)
