Some people say that people should have different amount of holiday according to their job. To what extend do you agree or disagree to this opinion?
The Korean government has enacted a law that every worker should have a holiday on Saturday every two weeks and every Sunday, regardless of their jobs. In relation to the number of days to take a rest, some people argue that it should be different according to occupation. In the following paragraphs, I will enumerate two main reasons why I totally disagree with them.
There is no doubt that most of people like taking holidays rather than working. It is a human nature. If someone takes more holidays than others, it will result in decreasing the efficiency and productivity of working. In instance, one of my friends is a teacher. She can get more holidays than me during summer and winter vacation, and usually go traveling abroad. However, I cannot have enough holidays to go on a trip oversea. Whenever I hear news that she has gone traveling abroad, I get so depressed and do not feel working any longer for a few days.
Moreover, the different amount of holidays depending on jobs is unfair. That is because everyone does not feel the same fatigue as others as long as they do not work too hard. For example, some of my coworkers tend to have more holidays and days off due to their poor health, even though we do the same work.
Taking all that into consideration, the amount of holidays should depend on from person to person, since everyone is different, even twins. The more we focus on how to find out the suitable amount of holidays as each person, the harder people can work by being satisfied with their holidays.
Thank you for collecting my mistakes in advance, have a nice day :)
