Hi everybody,

I find those words with 'rul' pronunciation symbols particularly difficult to pronounce correctly.

So I've recorded myself some of those words that have 'rul' at the end.

If anyone can give me feedback as to whether my pronunciations were correct and understandable, that would be great.

Cheers

I think if you just relaxed and said the words without that much effort put into "rul" sound you would sound better. Moreover, it is hard to make the words sound correctly, when you stress the wrong syllable.

Oral, not oRal , for example.

When you pronounce "barrel/oral", you pronounce it with a rolling R.
You should work some on your "R" sound, make sure it's not rolling.
I suggest you look up "r pronunciation" on youtube and watch some intructional videos on the subject.
