Learning a new language today is very important so that people always try to find the best efficient way to study it. Some people want to learn it within their own country, while the others want to learn it in the country where the language is spoken. In my opinion, I prefer to learn the language in the native country for the following reasons.
For the first reason, learning a new language in the country that the language is spoken is good to improve pronunciation and vocabulary. One that lives in a foreign country will have to communicate to everything by its native language, which forces them to speak the language everyday. Living among those native speakers will help us see our mistakes in our speaking or pronouncing. Moreover, we can know many more new words, slang and absorb it easily even though we do not understand it at first.
Besides, living in another country, we not only learn their language, we also learn its cultures. It is better to learn a language through reality. For example, your friend tells you to go to a historic site and you have no idea what that means until you go to that place and see its beauty. That is when you learn the word ‘historic’. Therefore, you can learn not only new words, you can also experience new things when you go outside.
Nevertheless, we cannot say that studying a new language in our own country is not good enough. Sometimes our teachers can find ways that help us learn it more efficiently. However, we often depend on our own language and may not want to speak it to other people. On the other hand, there may have not so many people can practice speaking with you. Time over time, you will forget everything you learned and it is a kind of waste.
In total, it is better to learn a language in the country in which it is spoken if we have a chance. Hence, we can make our learning become more interesting and more properly. That is all the reasons why I prefer to study a new language in a foreign country.

IT JUST REPEATS WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY SAID IN THE FIRST ONE) Moreover, we can know many more new words, slang and absorb it easily even though we do not understand it at first.

However, we often depend on our own language (? SORRY BUT I DON'T GET THIS ONE) and may not want to speak it to other people. BESIDES/IN ADDITION/ MOREOVER, there AREN'T many people WHO can practice speaking with you. Time over time, you will forget everything you learned and it is a kind of waste.
In total, it is better to learn a language in the country in which it is spoken if we have a chance. Hence, we can make our learning become more interesting and EFFECTIVE/EFFICIENT. That is all the reasons why I prefer to study a new language in a foreign country.

Hi Jane,
I think your reasons are good. However, sometimes you make me feel like you just write some sentences to make your essay longer. Please, don't do that. Those redundant sentences will not give you any bonus but lowering your score. Just keep it short and simple :) _________________ Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst! |

Hi Jane, In my opinion, You did a good job basically. You have showed the good reasons and examples to support your thesis. But I think your essay would be more better than if you are able to use words and structures in vary ways. Hope to see your next essay |
