Correct answer: (d) making

Your answer was: incorrect
your sentence:
Now, where are you going for?

-Why the correct answer is "making" and not " going"?

Hi,

'Make for' usually means 'go in the direction of a place' as in: We're making for Paris. Are you going in that direction?

'Go for' often has the sense of 'take an opportunity to do something' as in: That's a very good job. If I were you, I'd go for it and make an application.
