I have a suggestion

Hi everybody,
I have a suggestion, I noticed that many essays haven't been proofread, and I know how busy are the teachers, beside the noticeable increasing in the essays that want to be correct, so I have a suggestion, of course if the administration approves, since we are have variety levels in English, some learners are Excellent and the others are in intermediate or basic level, why don't we help each other, meaning when someone sends something we can correct it, even if we don't have the ability to correct it perfectly, at least we will be able to correct some errors, if he has ten mistakes, we can correct five for example, and run a discussion about some mistake if it's necessary, just after every post you should write that you are not a teacher.

About the users-can-correct-essays:

I did have such a suggestion, too. But there are some pros and cons if you do this. For example:

The disadvantage of this listed below.
1. The teacher may not want to re-read an already corrected essay - They trust you, even if they do not tell you!
2. Your correction might have some extra errors, so the teacher must read both the original essay and the corrected essays.
3. There are some points that teachers write for us while correction, so as a learner we may not aware of them.
4. It is really a time consuming task.

Of course there are some benefits, like:
1. We are supposed to act like a real teacher, so we read essays carefully to spot the errors.
2. We can compare our corrections with the other's. Therefore, we will see that which errors we have ignored.
3. We can help each other, and if we do our best, we will ease the teachers efforts.

They were my points of view about the suggestion you expressed. I tried to write it down as an essay, so if you mind, please correct it.

I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts and points of view, too.
