Doesn´t the "of" in your excuse lack another "f"? Only if added that makes sense to me? :-/

Well i was excusing the phrase because a lot of Americans use the term "Weiner" as slang for Penis. - The excuse being that it was indeed providing context since a Weiner and a Frankfurter are both German sausages with the Weiner normally being thinner. (thus the slang use)

Ah, if I get you right you didn´t mean being "off topic" but telling naughty stuff which might make young maids blush. So "bit-of-context" means things which are dicey to talk about in public. #:-O

As for the sausage, I have been aware of the analogy. But due to my location I´d prefer being called a "big Sauerländer" rather than a tiny "Weiner"! Btw, there also is a sausage here called "Pinkel" (very salty). :-) So what sort is Ireland known for?

Haha!! .... cough!!(thats the bait Im not swallowing:-)) I could be wrong but i always assumed it was a term you would only use for others - not yourself (for obvious reasons)

Regarding the context I was apologizing for the delicate subject matter while underlining its context...

Funny how a Welsh girl is never too far away when Sausages are mentioned? :-)

Ha........... just a bit of self-irony and yet you´re flounderring like a fish at the angling-rod. Btw, the term you referred to was synonymous meant only. :-))

and oh, as to beeesneeees´ term, I initially thought it was another human charactaristic. That changed after your post. But as the saying goes: Everything has an end but the sausage has two. :-)

Sorry Alan for having left the track,

if I´m allowed I´d like to start again with adding another one I was reminded to quite recently: "smart-alec"!

You can´t imagine how much I hate them, particularly if they turn out to be smarter then me in fact.

Really? You don't want to learn anything new from anyone? You don't want to expand your horizon via a good conversation?

Young Maids blush :-) ?...... you been watching Kevin Costner again Michael? - Depending on who you believe Robin Hood (even if he ever existed) is probably gone about 500 years?

btw its fun watching these all these phrases get thrown around by a one armed paper hanger :-)

Claudia, come on, I don´t think you´re infected by Jamie (political lurker). As I told before, I like a pleasant talk about everything, especially if you admitted that I´m the only one being right. :-))

Jamie, you´re not going to tell me you´re a sausage fryer only. Making young innocent gals changing the colour of their cheeks from natural to red might match the community of sausage fryers. :-))

But since you actually turned out to be a sceptic, I wonder about your aims :o
