Why do you think some people are attracted to dangerous sports or other dangerous activities? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer...

People in growing number today tend to participate in various dangerous sports or other activities, which have arouse debate in the society. When it comes to what kinds of reasons trigger those people to have that option, I hold the following three main points.

First of all, the changing of people’s mind plays a vital role in the choice of form of entertainment. In the past, unenlightened thoughts influenced people to take part in stimulating activities, because they considered it as dangerous things would lose lives at any time. Daily activities were limited to ordinary social network and gentle activities. While with the understanding of extreme activities, people are becoming gradually reluctant to enjoy a mundane life, they desire to risk lives to seek excitement might help them escape tedious life. For example, people wouldn't think one day they could stepping on a board, completing handstand, big jump, swivel and various other fancy moves until the appearance of Tony Hawk.

At the same time, perhaps the most direct drive might come from money. With more and more people’s lives getting better, they have sufficient money and extra time to support themselves to have an attempt new ways of recreation. In the old times, the main task of human was to work hard earning money to support their family, since lagged financial problem had inhibited them from enjoying other entertainments

The last reason is the nature of human beings as searching for challenge and adventure. Those people who try to climb mountains by a perilous route show particular interests not for this mountain peats but for the challenge and difficulties they would meet with during the climbing. They don’t consider those activities as dangerous, instead, they would embrace those activities for the reason of a new way to challenge their limited abilities.

To sum up, dangerous activities and other forms of excitement stem from the nature of humankind as many people are always looking for something new and exciting. In addition, by taking part in dangerous activities, people may find a way to run away stress and other brought by modern life styles .
