Improve public transportation or roads and highways

In my opinion, government should spend more money on improving public transportation than roads and highways because a good public transportation system can decrease traffic congestion, air pollution and living cost.
First of all, there are no controversy that improving public transportation can surely alleviate toxix waste eliminated by enormous cars. If the public transportation system cannot meet people’s requirement, they will buy a car to service themselves. The more cars there are in the streets, the more badly environment is destroyed. It is absolutely necessary to invest in public transportation, otherwise we ourselves are subjected to polluted air no sooner or later, breathing into contaminated gases everyday easily affect our respiratory system. There is no doubt in my mind that the protection of our environment is an urgent mission that we have to convey our energy to implement.
Another reason strengthens my opinion is that it can reduce traffic jam. Traffic jam not only cost people time and expense, but also create a bad mood for work and study. If we are stuck in it, we will easily become exhausted and lose enthusiasm in work. Traffic jam also destroy the beauty of the city which is full of dull smoke and long lines cars freezing in the streets.
Last but not least, when public transportation is improved, people can economize their cost living. For those who cannot afford to buy a car, they can take a bus or subway to go to work. For the others, they can contribute something to their city as a good citizen.
In conclusion, base on above discussion, I hold my opinion that government should spend money on improving transportation not only to protect environment but also create a chance for people to do their citizen rights.

Another reason THAT strengthens my opinion is that it can reduce traffic jam. Traffic jam not only costS people time and expense, but also create aN UNHAPPY ATMOSPHERE bad mood for work and study. If we are stuck in A TRAFFIC JAM, we will easily become exhausted and lose enthusiasm TO work. Traffic jamS also destroy the beauty of the city which IN CASE OF TRAFFIC JAM is full of dull smoke and long lines OF cars freezing in BLOCKING the streets.

Last but not least, when public transportation is improved, people can economize their cost living. For those who cannot afford to buy a car, they can take a bus or subway to go to work. For the others, they can contribute something to their city as a good citizen.

In conclusion, baseD on above discussion, I hold my opinion that government should spend money on improving transportation not only to protect environment but also TO create a chance for people to do their BEST AS citizenS.
