Please check my exercise. Thank you.

"Rewrite each sentence, beginning as shown, so that the meaning stays the same.

1. "Don't forget to phone the office", she told him.
She reminded.............................................
She reminded him to phone the office.
2. I'm afraid I haven't got time to listen to you.
I wish......................................................
I wish I had time to listen to you.
3. The police have just released John.
John................................................
John had been released by the police.
4. I couldn't hear them because they were speaking too softly.
They were speaking.....................................................
They were speaking too softly so I couldn't hear them/ They were speaking too softly for me to hear.
5. She doesn't usually stay up so late.
She's not used............................................
She's not used to staying up so late.
6. If I were you I'd look for another job.
I suggested......................................
I suggested you look for another job.
7. He lost is money simply because he wasn't careful.
If.................................................................
If he was careful, he would not lose his money./ If he had been more careful he wouldn't lost his money.
8. They last visited me five years ago.
They haven....................................................
They haven't visited me for five years.
9. His suits were all made in Paris.
He had...........................................
He had all suits made in Paris.
10. We spent five hours getting to London.
It.....................................................
It took us five hours to get to London.

Unless you try to harder, I'll help you. / Unless you promise to try harder I won't help you.

3. She bought that house in 1973.
She has.............................................................................................
She has bought that house since 1973./ She has lived that house since 1973.
Try again starting with 'She has owned...'.

4. They believe he is mad.
He.........................
He was IS believed to be mad.

7. She can't have any more children because of her age.
She is too.............................................................
She is too old to have more children/ She is too old to have any more children.

8. It isn't necessary to shout.
You.........................
You shouldn't shout./ You needn't shout.
