Different kinds of transportation from home to a place 40 miles away.

You need to travel from your home to a place 40 miles (64 kilometers) away. Compare the different kinds of transportation you could use. Tell which method of travel you would choose. Give specific reasons for your choice.


There are different ways of transportation. People chose transportation as per their convenience. If a person need to travel from home to place 40miles away can chose different transportation, car, bus, train, motorbike, bicycle. I would have chose car because of fallowing reasons.

Firstly, traveling 40 miles will take more time if we use train or bus or bicycle or motorbike. In car we can reach with in 50 minutes. If we chose train or bus will take more time. They will have stops in every station, they have to wait for passengers and they have to fallow the route, for the destination the train or bus route may be long. If we chose car, we can reach destination with out any stops stations and with out waiting anyone on the way.

Secondly, in car we can carry any thing as much as car space. If we chose motorbike or bicycle, will not be possible to carry more luggages. Not possible to carry heavy luggage in bus or in train with us. In car we can take our pet but its not possible in bus or train or motorbike or bicycle.

Finally, in car we can travel with more than 2 people and can enjoy traveling. In motorbike or in bicycle it’s not possible. In bus or in train we can’t enjoy much.

In summary, people chose their convenient transportation. Most of them will chose car as transportation, as per reasons and examples mentioned above car have more advantages than disadvantages.
