Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. Let us settle on 4.30 pm for now, we will finalize it once we get a better idea of the things.

2. Just for the sake of example, let us see this slide.

3. I wonder how the structure may have worked in this case.

They are all acceptable but I would say: a better idea of things.
