Is it a good idea for teenagers have jobs while they are still students?
According to a recent statistic on the internet, teenagers are inclined to choose to have jobs while they’re still students, undoubtedly, this tendency is increasing rapidly. Naturally, this phenomenon has triggered a debated discussion among people, especially educators and parents, considering that children’s future would be influenced by involved in jobs. However, others insist THAT having jobs while studying would have a good impact on student’s development. From my perspective, it’s a good idea for students to deal with job affairs before graduation.
In the first place, jobs will cultivate the capability of analyzing practical problems which is unable(I think it is better to use IMPOSSIBLE) to be learned by studying books. Teachers just teach students theories and not everything that is learned is contained in books. It’s hardly possible for schools to provide ways for students to apply theory into practice. For example, science theories in the books sometimes are abstract and difficult to understand. Books will describe a surgery procedure with a myriad of sentences, making people confused and having no good impacts on memory, while it only takeS several hours to keep that in mind through practical operation. The better master of knowledge would definitely help students bring up their grades.
At the same time, dealing with job in a student life would make contributION to building a well-established interpersonal relationship of a student as well as improving his communication skill. Taking jobs meanS teenagers have to make contacts with other people from a diversity of areas. Numerous students would like to be taken as tutors, sales workers, assistants,AND OTHER JOBS WHERE communication skills are in great demand. Its priority task is to learn how to communicate with people so that they would not treat them like children and reluctant to pay for them. Some (without OF)students (without even) have no idea (wothout about) how to make their own networking and how to get acquainted with strangers, which might be easier for students who havE some working experience.
Although having a job while still in school has some merits, we could not ignore the disadvantages it posses. Admittedly, one of the grave problems is that students might be distracted by working and taken studying less seriously. It’s true that some students are unable to resist the temptation of making money and influence their marks in school,(start a new sentence here) That’s why a majority of parents and educators hold a negative view about it.
Weighing the advantages and disadvantages, I still advocate that teenagers havING A job when they are still pursing knowledge on campus is a good idea. It is students’ awareness that should be enhanced that their primary task is to receive diplomas while modest jobs would helpful for their future work, only in this way can teenagers balance work and study and have a promising future.
