If you could change one important thing about your hometown, what would you change? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.

There are several things which I would like to change in my hometown. But the most of all I’d like to make a clean sweep of rubbish. Plant and water pollution are the biggest problems in our society and I would like people find a way to resolve it.
In my hometown we can see heap of rubbish in the forests, parks, near blocks of flats and even in the city center. People are not caring where to throw the litter. Because of their indifference we face with the water and plant pollution. There are the great majority of cans, bottles, wastes of food and paper in the lakes and rivers. A lot of fish die because of water pollution and people get sick when then drink this water even it is purifying. Plant pollution is not less important then water. People throw the litter everywhere especially in the place where they use to have the picnics. They also leave the wastes because everybody does it. People see the litter around them and ask themselves why they can’t leave their rubbish too.
In my opinion people leave the litter everywhere because there aren’t any fines in the most cases. Firstly, our government should give more attention to this problem. They should punish people who pollute the place where we live. Secondly, students should organize more labor days. There are several in my city: we usually clean the territory twice in autumn and twice in spring. However, that is not enough. And thirdly, people stop throwing litter everywhere. We shouldn’t ignore this problem. And to find more ways to reduce if not stop it.
