Pets should be treated like family members? #1 (permalink) Tue Mar 08, 2011 0:53 am   Pets should be treated like family members?

Pets should be treated like family members. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons to support your opinion.

Pets are very friendly, in every stage of life they interact with humans. I agree with the statement that, pets should be treated like family members. Below are the examples and reason to support my thought.

Firstly, children would learn how to care their brother and sisters in absence of their parents. Some people allow their children to play with their pets from childhood. Children love to play with pets because they are friendly with them. Parents would allow their children to take care of their pets from which they can learn how to take care of their brothers, sisters and they will learn how to interact with brothers, sisters. Pets won't harm family members and they become one of them.

Secondly, couples who don't have kids they treat their pets as their babies. For example, one of my aunt who has been married for 12 years doesn't have kids. My uncle and aunt have two dogs, they love their pets very much. They won't leave their pets alone, they substituted their pets as their babies. They provided all facility for their pets as a family member. Those dogs are growing there from their childhood. Now they have became younger and very lovable. My uncle, aunt won't feel that they don't have kids.

Lastly, as we have read some were in news paper or in TV programs that pets are helpful for disabled or elder people. Pets will help them to take their things from unreachable place. They will some how guide their owners while walking. Pets play with their owners. They take care of their owners as guardian. They will help in may ways for disabled or elder people.

To sum it up, pets are very friendly, helpful to human. In every stage of life pets are helpful. They should treat as family members. They have to get good facilities and good treatment as a family member.
