A university education should be provided free of charge to all interested scholars.

Education is very important part of any person’s life. And now a day for many students, to take admission in any good and famous university is like a dream, because of raising cost of education. But I do not agree with the statement that, to provide university education free of charge. In this essay I will enumerates some points which support my point of view.

I do not think that it is a good idea to provide education free, because it will reduce the value and quality of education. In other words if students will not pay fees, how university will arrange all the equipments and resources to teach them such as computers, new books in library or good professors? And, because of the lack of resources students can not get beneficial education from university.

Furthermore, if there are no fees in academics, then in that condition only that university will give better education, which has more money. And poor universities will borrow some money from government. That means if student will not pay the money then government has to pay that money to university, which means tax are raised, and this is not fair for people who is not using the universities for higher studies.

Finally, if there is no compulsion of fees then may be students will not understand the value of study. Because there will be no worries for scholarship so they will study just to get any grades. Thus it will reduce the competition between the students. And important fact is that, university will not get the qualified and eligible students.

To conclude, a university education should not be free of cost because I believe, to provide better education to student, university required money. If student do not want to pay more money than they can take admission into any government school which is available at very low cost.
