How fast can you type?

I had completed the lesson one & found easy. I didn't have any querry on the same. I gave test & score 10 out of 10 on the same.

Typing is a skill by itself which was created during the typewriter boom time i.e. before computer sparks in the history of mankind.

I was exposed to computer some time in 1985. Prior to that, I attended typing classes i.e. after my Malaysian School of Certificate at the age of 17.

However, it is not only typing skill matters. It involves the power of spelling including grammar. I find difficulty too though not all the time in describing what I really want to express.

Nonetheless, with the typing skills I have, I can expedite any required report submission, letters going out and other jobs needed.

About the typing skill, I think really depends how often people are using the same language for typing. I think that is pretty hard to type fast in four several languages for example. I use to type in Bulgarian, Serbian, Hebrew and English, all these languages are with different alphabets and the Hebrew is with right to left writing, so sometimes is messy to type fast

i don't stop a learning English language. If I do. Then It can't help me to grow in an English language.

really it's great efforts from you all who try to improve an important skill(typing) but I think it depends all on the one's readiness and intelligence towards this skill for example I am a teacher of English and I can't use word application properly despite having got the ICDL .However,I try to do my best to learn how to improve this crucial skill .And I'd like to say not just typing but also using additional activities I mean clip art..... and so on [/b]

I think that the typing skill is depend of the knowledge of the language. if I type in my language, I don't have any problems, and I do it very fast, but if I have to type in english, it's not so fast becouse of the language bar( I have to think about every single word I type- is it true, is it in place, are the other people will understand all that I want to say...That's why I'm here. I'm sure, that in the end of this on-line course, I will type faster, and more correctly

But I don't think there is any need to have a coures for typing....

sorry to say that you are wrong as I can see alot of mistakes in your typing, moreover, More practice makes perfection. Try to improve your typing. You'd better practise more typing.

Greetings to everyone,
I've never been in typing school at all. I just learned it by myself thru chatting and practicing of writing mails and I'm not doing really fast thou. I think in every person who wants to learn something beneficial should focus and put an extra efforts to be exerted. There are special skills carry since birth and skills that have developed in learning with others.
It's only my two cent opinion.

I don't think I am slow at typing . I think my pace is just fine. When I need to type faster, I do. I have never been to any sort of typing schools neither have I taken any typing courses.
