How fast can you type?

Hi i'm Hannahpierre,

You know what I really think that I need to practice more on my typing skills because I really got confused in letters especially when I'm looking at the monitor. I know that it was a vary hard skill to develop especially if you are not always doing things like this, but I hope someday I will develop my typing skills.

Hi everyone, from my point of view i would say that typing skill is important. once we are working, this are the things that we should be able to do fast. Not only that, we must also know how to use the computer in this modernized era. I am not telling this just for the working adults but also for students. Believe me, it really helps because easy to get information and everything will be in your fingertips.

i think to be fast in typing it's so easy but to be good at writing it is so difficult
especially when you write in foreign language so at first i need to be good at writing then i'll try to be good at typing

I thing that I'm not harry in typing at english ,but I want to improve my typing.

I have to type very fast when I am using my text telephone otherwise the hearing person thinks it goes too slowly. In spite of that it goes much slower when speaking direcly to a person and sometimes it will be some errors but if the other person understands I don't use to correct the mistakes. It will take to long time and the hearing person gets irritated.

I could just see one mistake in that text and it was the s of the word understand. I forgot it fast but at my textphone I can't edit my text just erase a letter if I just the wrong one.

I think that some people who are not write a message by themselves because they are shy to write or speak in english which not their mother tounge language. For me, I want to improve my english both speaking and writing but I don't have someone to talk to and don't have a pen pal. But I don't give up I think I can join this forum and improve my english with all of you.

I think that sometime people have few time to write or not enough patience for it. In any case we have to write, because it help us to develop our grammar skills and of course it is on of the methods of communication.

i want to write something here for you. I worte something everyday for my presentation at college. But My typing is slow and takes more times for typing then writing on the paper. But my students prefer LCD presentation. Therefore, I need to learn typing more fast. How do i learn about it, please can you help me about it? Thanks

i am agree with you, typing is very importent for working in a office or to write something, if you can't type fast then you will waste your time and it will be boring for you.
i didn't studeid typing in a school or anywhere eles, i think the best way for learn how to type fast, just writing, i accept first it is boring for you but if you wrtie you will be fast and fast day by day,
i am also not fast in typing but i can solve my problem i can write more then 50 word in per minute.

I agree with you but I think that practice is the best method to type faster than any other method and in addition to practice, there are some techniques to be learned before practicing foe example the putting of fingers on your keyboard and seeing to the screen without watching the letters. I think the speaking is better than witting because it saves the time and effort as well as improve your pronunciation and phonetics.

OOhhh...Andreana, you're right. I don't have a skill to type. it's hard to me to write something here. but i just try. and here it is. I'm interested in to study english in this website. but sometimes I don't have a time to check it out. I have a bad english skill, but I have a dream to continue my study to foreign country like france or japan...I'm sure one day I will write some sentences in this website from Japan or France...wish me luck...

I do agree with all of you that typing fast make us work faster. I also type the meeting note on the projector during the meeting. Torsten informed that's a dance mat typing on BCC site. I've tried and now I type faster than before. It's fun! You can try.
