How fast can you type?

Hello, everybody.
I believe to learn well to type we need to used the fingers that goes with the differents letters, symbols and numbers in the keyword. When you know this, then practice and practice, but don´t look at the keyword.

Firslty , i want to thank all the stuff supporting this forum specially Mr.Torsten.
its really great website .

Im now preparing to do ILETS Exams which i want it to apply for universities.

It takes from me long time to read all the pages of this topic , i read amazing replies which teach me alot to improve English language .

I start practice my typing on the BBc website which Mr.Torsten advise, its really great and i noted my typing become faster .

My openion for improving English language is how ambition the man is has , if you have clear paln and you follow it , you will be improved .

Finally, i hope to get more useful lessons from here to improve my English .

I think many people refuse to write cause to if they do like speaking could make many mistakes. By the way, for me is easier to read a lot than to write due to my poor vocabulary, so since the moment that continuing to read stories not too complicated I enrich my vocabulary. I think in this manner I'll be able to learn more and fast. Cheers!!

Hi every body,yeah it is very difficult to type some thing in intial stages but after passage of time we will improve our typing speed.In intial stages we face some linguistic problems also thats why our typing speed is very low for typing we should have some commond over language.

i think every one must put a plan for learn a new language .

so if any one want to improve English langauge should put plan to improve writting skills and another for speaking. once he do this palns he make revise on his level .

find out the weak point in the level of English langauge we have, will give us a good apportinunty to start enhance the language in good way .

hi, I can typ in long time but I think I'm improving in this way .
the many people use computer in day and they must to know how to typ faster because time is very importent and we should don't wast time .
I want to tayp faster.
at first ,I learn typ in US only 6 month ago .
I'm realy hapy because I learn more and more every day.
your program is very useful for me, I can conect with another peopel in the world .
please correct me if I make mistake .

I learnt to type fast in a subject of my career (bilingual assistant)...
We learnt with a specific program... but I can't remember de name of it... :/

I am Shashi Bhardawaj from India, and I rally liked this discussion. I am glad to say that I am also among those people who type faster and in the correct manner.
I learned it by a windows game well known typing-tuter. I got it mastered myself. Its good to type fast without seeing on the keyboard.

I think,the problem is not in speed of typing but spelling of english words is bigger problem.

Exactly. That's why you should use a spell checker to spell the word English properly.

I didn't take typing course but ı use my personal computer usually.Because of this ı don't need to course about it. Really it is important to type fastly, especially for bussines life.Your boss wants you to fulfill the report for 2 hours. If you want to do it on time you have to type as possible as fast. When ı started to use the computer ı was really bored to type, because ı used to take long time. But in time ı started to type a bit fast and it took me to waste my time efficiently.Now ı can type fastly as ı want. Still ı have to improve it.
