What's the differences between "last" and "final"? Why "last" is not correct here?

Hi Vitaly,

They both suggest something at the end. Last suggests at the end of a series as in: The last book he ever wrote. Final can indicate the end in a particular situation as in: Would you like to give everyone a final piece of advice before they go?
