Hi niranjan,
I have added changes in capitals letters:

topic: Some students like classes where teachers lecture (do all of the talking) in class. Other students prefer classes where the students do some of the talking. Which type of class do you prefer? Give specific reasons and details to support your choice.
Some students in a class like to listen to lectures with no interaction with the professor while some like it otherwise. I personally like the latter (one,) where I get to interact with the proffessor PROFESSOR/TEACHER during the class.
Firstly, I prefer a class with more interaction between the lecturer and the students. This enables me to put forth my ideas and find out what others might think of it THEM. In addition, when others discuss their views it helps me in understanding the subject better. Also, such active participation will kindle more interest in the students, and open them up to a range of thoughts. Apart from getting access to a variety of ideas, active interaction also helps in improving our communication skills. I used to have a fear in sharing (USED TO BE FRIGHTENED OF SHARING) my ideas in a group. But after attending classes where we can openly discuss the subject, I have succesfully gotten over the fear.
Secondly, it is very tedious for me to sit through long lectures. Such classes are too mundane and I personally cannot sit through an hour long of monotonous drone by the lecturer. As a result the lecturer becomes less effective in passing on the information that they intented. Hence, as far as possible I try to avoid such classes since they are of very little use for me.
Concluding, in accordance with me (ACCORDING TO ME/IN MY OPINION), classes which allow interaction between the student and the proffessor (PROFESSOR) are far more effective. Wheras lectures have proven time and again to be very less useful for me compared to some others. |
This is good. Well done.
