Blundered/lumbered Fri Mar 24, 2006 14:08 pm  Blundered/lumbered

Hi Fernando,

Blunder as verb and noun suggests the making of an unfortunate mistake. As a secondary meaning together with appropriate prepositions it can mean enter by mistake as in: Blunder into a meeting - indicating that you have accidentally come into a meeting that you are not supposed to. Lumber as a verb suggests a slow and heavy movement as an old lorry driving through narrow streets.
