Topic: Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer?
[In my opinion,] Travel is [useful] not only to relax but also to learn many things. While someone [might] enjoys travel[ing] alone, others like to travel with a companion. Each way has both advantages and disadvantages.[semicolon, not period] But my preference is to travel with at least [one]a friend.
[When] Travelling with my[a] friend, I do not feel boring[bored] and homesick. I experienced a travel[Once, I traveled] to an old city by myself. During the trip, I could not share [my] great feelings and [the] beautiful sightseeing with anyone. As a result, I felt exhausted and homesick and, of course, my trip was shortened. {I don't think it was "of course" or obvious, I would say "and I ended up shortening my trip"}After that trip, I get a[always had a] lot of fun because I have never travelled[sp] alone.
Another advantage of travelling[sp] with a companion is to save time and money. To take a trip, I have to [research] information about places, roads, hotels and etc. Therefore, I can save a lot of time when I and my friend{"my friend and I"} do it together. Moreover, travelling[sp] with a companion reduces the cost of the trip. The costs of hotel room[say "the hotel room" or "hotel rooms"], transportation, and other fees will decreases considerably if I share them with others.
And the [final] important reason I choose travelling[sp] with my friend is [that it is] less dangerous than travelling[sp] alone. Travel means going to strange places and I do not know much [about] such places. For that reason, I and my companion{say "my companion and I"} can protect each other against theft, assaults and anything like that[similar dangers]. Furthermore, I am not sure that whether my health is[will be] good during the trip. Thus[,] if unfortunately I get sick, I must not be worried a lot when[will be less worried if] I have a companion.
To sum up, although many people like to travel alone because they want to have freedom, flexible plan{s} and new experiences, I think travelling[sp] with at least a[one] companion is better to[for] me for some reasons I have stated above.
Please check my essay for grammar, structure and ideas, and rate it! :D Thank you for your reading!
