Hi, every one. I want to ask is it write to ask these Questions OR not. 1- what country is it? 2- what flag is it ? 3-where are You from? 4- From where do you come? 5- Which country is it? thanks alot... Jungie |
Hi everyone ('everyone' is one word). I want to ask is it right to ask these questions or not. (Note the spelling of 'right' with this meaning. No capital letter is required for 'questions')
Sentences 1 - 3 require a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence. Sentence 3 does not require a capital letter for 'you'. 4. would be more naturally written 'Where do you come from?'
There is no such word as 'alot' in standard English. You need to write 'a lot'. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Well in this Sentence you are doing so many mistakes in first you should use What is your Country ? if you are asking to other second is Correct in 3rd Where are You from? Well these are some mistakes which you did in these sentences but i hope you will correct them very soon . and will also learn English with pronunciation . |

Hello Sidramalik,
Please look at my message above. Jungie's mistakes are not the ones that you seem to have 'found'.
1. 'country' does not need a capital letter and 'what country is it?' is not the same questions as 'What is your country?' In addition, 'What is your country?' is not a natural way of phrasing the question, "What country do you come from?"
3. The only change you seem to be suggesting here is an extra (and unnecessary) space. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

You're welcome, Jungie.
By the way, note the correct spelling of 'please'. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
