Hello!

Please, rate these essays.

Essay: When people succeed , it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.

Our life brings us a lot of surprises and unexpected things. There are so many problems in our career and with housekeeping. How can we come through it?
Since I was a child I have been told: “You have to study hard, you have to read more, you have to know more than the others do. You are just a girl, your opportunities are less than that of men. You need to prove that you are equal to them, so you have to work hard.”
So I did. For example, I am studying again. I don’t use any cheats in my passing exams. When I’ve got an "A", I know, it is because of my hard work.
But, may be, it is because of my huge unluckyness. When I have to choose between two points of view or two answers I never guess. Never at all. My intuition has being slept for all my life.
But some people are so lucky that they don’t have to make any efforts to improve their life and luck makes their life so successful, easy and happy.
But I must say that the best way for me is to work hard and have a piece of luck. Thus, will make my dreams come true.

“No pain, no gain’ an old proverb says. You can believe it or not and talk much about luck. But it is a well known fact there is no success without a hard work.
In my opinion, success does not depend much on luck.
Being successful means being not lucky but well prepared. Nobody says a world champion in boxing, for example, is a lucky guy. But everyone admits he is a well trained person. And it is obvious that luck has nothing to do with his success. Because no luck will help you to beat years devoted to training yourself into a mean-machine.
Surely, everyone is pleased when everything is going just fine. But you have to be prepared to the worst. Just not to be at a loss if they might have happened.
So, though luck is very pleasant thing to have, it’s very important to work hard on something you are in. It is considered to be the best way of gaining success.

Everyone wants to succeed in life. Some people work hard, trying to achieve their goals, others are just lucky. They are in the right place and at the right time.
I would like to shed light on my experience. I have been studying, interpreting, translating and teaching English for over 20 years. Studying a foreign language involves a lot of reading, writing, speaking. If one majors in translating, one has to be knowledgeable in a number of other fields apart from linguistics. Without hard work it would be useless to hope to become a good specialist in this profession.
But when one has enough knowledge, he starts looking for a job where his potential is valued best. In this case, besides hard work, one needs a little luck.
There are too many good specialist on the market, and it is quite natural that the best take the best jobs. But sometimes this rule does not work. Someone might be the only person who showed up for the interview, or the company is just being launched, and some of those who joined it at the start, are likely to succeed in climbing the career leader just because they were the first.
But still, I do believe that only through hard work can a person succeed in life. Luck does play its role, sometimes no less important than qualification and experience, but hard work is the stepping stone on the road to success.

Hi salai,

I have made some changes in capital letters:

Quote:
Essay: When people succeed , it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.

Our life brings us a lot of surprises and unexpected things. There are so many problems in our career and with housekeeping. How can we come GET through it?
Since I was a child I have been told: “You have to study hard, you have to read more, you have to know more than the others do. You are just a girl, your opportunities are less than thatTHOSE of men. You need to prove that you are equal to them, so you have to work hard.”
So I did. For example, I am studying again. I don’t use any cheats in my passing exams. I DON'T CHEAT WHEN I TAKE EXAMS When I’ve got an "A", I know, it is because of my hard work.
But, may be, it is because of my huge unluckyness/ENORMOUS BAD LUCK. When I have to choose between two points of view or two answers I never guess. Never at all. My intuition has being slept for/HAS BEEN DORMANT/SLEEPING all my life.
But some people are so lucky that they don’t have to make any efforts to improve their life and luck makes their life so successful, easy and happy.
But I must say that the best way for me is to work hard and have a piece of luck. Thus, IT will make my dreams come true.

“No pain, no gain’ an old proverb says. You can believe it or not and talk much about luck. But it is a well known fact there is no success without a/NO ARTICLE hard work.
In my opinion, success does not depend much on luck.
Being successful means being not lucky but well prepared. Nobody says a world champion in boxing, for example, is a lucky guy. But everyone admits he is a well trained person. And it is obvious that luck has nothing to do with his success. Because no AMOUNT OF luck will help you to beat SOMEONE WHO HAS SPENT years devoted to training yourself/THEMSELVES into a mean-machine.
Surely, everyone is pleased when everything is going just fine. But you have to be prepared to/FOR the worst. Just not to be at a loss if they/IT might have happened.
So, though luck is A very pleasant thing to have, it’s very important to work hard on something you are INVOLVED in. It is considered to be the best way of gaining success.

Everyone wants to succeed in life. Some people work hard, trying to achieve their goals, others are just lucky. They are in the right place and at the right time.
I would like to GIVE AN EXAMPLE FROM MY EXPERIENCE shed light on my experience. I have been studying, interpreting, translating and teaching English for over 20 years. But still, I do believe that only through hard work can a person succeed in life. Luck does play its role, sometimes IT IS no less important than qualification and experience, but hard work is the stepping stone on the road to success.

This is a good piece of writing.
