Was just getting told off at the cinema earlier (for me a regular event) for miss pronunciation - even though I was only trying to be funny? Gilders(Alan)then turned to my accuser and asked him why he said "it was a good fill-im" as apposed to film?

What are you talking about? he said in dig nan telly...

Well? Film has only one vowel....yet a lot of people(including this guy)for some reason use two? - Boom Boom!!

Pronouncing "film" as "Fill-um" is a by-product of my charming regional accent. It stays. Now I shall go and watch a vid-jeeoo instead.
