With the advancement, needs of human augmented. Increment in needs resulted in production of goods which subsequently required markets. Small shops to large shopping centres are part of these markets which attract people to fulfil their needs. Recently, construction of a large shopping centre is announced in my neighbourhood which attracted criticism from different people. Possibility of noise, destruction of small business and monopoly of a single shopping centre are the imperative reason given by the critics however, considering the convenience of shopping centre, increment in employment opportunities and better development of my locality, I support the construction of a shopping centre.

Presence of a shopping centre near to my locality will provide additional convenience. Currently, no such establishment is in the locality and I have to drive five miles for my purchasing, which not only waste my time but also leave me exhausted. Availability of all essential goods at a single place will save people's time and they will be able to spend more with their family. Moreover, a large shopping centre will help in reducing the monopolies of the current vendors who take the advantages of neighbours.

Establishment of shopping centre will create the employment opportunities. For such a large organisation managers, watchmen, salesmen all are required and some neighbours will have the opportunity to get better occupations. A better job will not only strengthen the financial conditions of the families but also brings the happiness.

Development of the neighbourhood will attract the potential investors and the government for the improvement of the locality. While investor will be augment investment in the area allowing more growth, the government will facilitate improvement of roads, transportation system and other basic facilities. Improvement of basic infrastructure is directly related to the advancement of locality.

A shopping centre in the locality is not only meant for the convenience to purchase goods but also provides the chances to have better employment opportunities and the development of the society.
