Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
To outset, in our daily life we encounter different situations and act according to it, hoping for the best outcome and beneficial result for oneself. Some tackles the circumstances with enjoyment while others do it just for the sake of accomplishing the result. But the true success is achieved when the work is performed with the inner determination and for which, one has to enjoy the work.
Unwillingness to perform any task reduces the productivity. Lack of enthusiasm is seen from a person, who doesn't enjoy his work. Such a person either tends to avoid the task or try to skip it. Less enthusiasm implies lesser involvement of a person in performing a task which subsequently reduces the productivity of the person. Moreover, a person lacking in willingness might perform the task slowly, which is neither beneficial for himself nor for his organisation.
With decrease in productivity such people are found to suffer from stress. A person cannot give his best to the task which is not enjoyable and to excel in any field, a good performance is mandatory. Exasperation to perform in a task, which a person is not enjoying, creates pressure. Pressure is directly related to stress level of person. Stress arouses bitter behaviour and unnameable nature. Such a strenuous environment is neither beneficial for the health of the person nor for the people around him.
I remember, I was assigned a project in my undergraduate studies against my will. I had to submit it within five days. I completed the task unwillingly and as expected when the evaluation was out, I had performed terribly and got the lowest marks among my colleagues.
To conclude, it does not matter whether a work is of no value or of lofty importance, what matters is your willingness to perform a task. To achieve desire result enthusiasm and productivity is required which is possible only when you enjoy your job.
