Hi,

Amy: I can't allow myself loose this battle!
James: Me, either/I, too/Me, as well/ Neither can I.

Which of the following is incorrect in this conversation?
Or, what are the other options do we have?

Thanks.

I always thought it was "Me neither", but this entertainingly titled website makes the case that both are correct. It also implies that "Nor can I" might be the classiest response.

Thanks for the link, Luschen. I had to agree with the author that 'mine either' does seem a lot better than 'mine neither'. :)

By the way, I made a case for the conversational use of 'me either' not too long ago in this thread:

You'll hear people using 'Me either' quite regularly in my neck of the woods.
