Simple Present Tense:

Regular Full Forms of the verb to be
I am
He is
She is
It is
The <singular noun> is
We are
You are
They are
The <plural noun> are

You just have to learn the irregular ones.

I think the question is rather how/when to use the verb to be as an auxiliary in the present tense...

basically it is for present continuous- I am singing, he is writing, they are playing.

and

passives- it is done by magic, I am driven to school, they are liked by their friends.

Was that the question? (and was that the answer?)
