Hi,

In terms of our community I would describe long-standing members as those who have been on the forum for a long time - back to the days when we first started in 2003. Some of our members have also been outstanding as they have offered excellent questions and answers.

As a long-standing member, FOAH can be an outstanding one, as I notice he is good enough in English, and he is brave to criticize the coach. Great job!

Hello Rocky,

thanks for your great trust in me.

Just, albeit I´m a member since 2006 now and my English might have improved, I´d never dare to criticize any of the admins and/or coaches. I just expressed what I felt about the adjective "past" in this concern. I also could have posted my confusion in the "vocabulary, grammar and idioms-thread". Fortunately, Alan and Beesneees and pipiiii and you had had another look on my post and I was able to learn more.

For example the difference between "long standing member" and "outstanding member".

In my view, the good and wise teachers will allow their students to be critical. Criticizing is not a crime. It helps to create a very conducive atmosphere in learning process. Foah, you deserve to be considered as an outstanding member.
