I have an exam and it is mainly about stress. Like which syllable is stressed but I'm facing a problem in determine which syllable is stressed and which is not.

The exam will be on vocabulary and their part of speech is given and I have to mark the stress syllable.

Hi,

That is a very general question. In order to advise, you would have to know the exact words/speech.

My corrections:

The exam will be on vocabulary and the part of speech is given and I have to mark the stressed syllable.

So are there any tips or pieces of advice/or is there any advice to help me deal with this problem?

Alan

Thx alot for correcting my mistakes.

All I have found that nouns and adjectives are stressed on the first syllable while verbs on the second syllable another thing, for compound nouns the stress is on the first part while for adjectives and verbs it is on the second part.
