Thank you for your message. You have done very well in describing your room. The main point is that you are easy to understand and your pronunciation is quite good. At the beginning you were not sure what you were going to say. Perhaps in your next message you might find it easy to tell a story or simply describe what you do. You could give an account of a typical day in your life.

Well most of it depends on your attitude. More you are going to be positive and nice to people, better the chance you’ll get to make friends. The opportunity to know people is great. You can do street talks to anyone: your neighbor, the clerk at the bank, the receptionist at your work, the bus driver etc. These people you meet regularly or every day are acquaintances. You know them by sight and only talk to them a little. In other words you do street talks by greeting them, do some comments on the weather or the recent news (any neutral topic that doesn’t involve personal matter).
