Please advise whether the sentences below are correct:

Have you washed all the curtains? When did you wash them?

My concern is that a sentence in present perfect is immediately followed by a sentence in past simple (in one conversation). However, the first one does not specify any time and the second one actually requires a time frame so I think they are correct. Help will be much appreciated.

Hi,

As they stand, the sentences and tenses are fine. My only concern is if this is a conversation, it would be unusual to ask both, one after the other because the second question makes the first one redundant.

I imagine you meant a sequence like:

A Have you washed all the curtains?

B Yes, I have

A When did you wash them?

Alan
