Voc/ General Medical Council or Order of Doctors. #1 (permalink) Fri May 27, 2011 22:52 pm   Voc/ General Medical Council or Order of Doctors.

Hi all of you

I know what the General Medical Council is: before doctors can start a practice they have to enrol at the GMC. There's even a website about GMC, however I don't know the link.

Some countries use 'Order of Doctors'.

Now are both the same and, if so is General Medical Council used more in English?

Thank you
Alexandro.
