Do you believe that experimentation on animals for scientific purposes is justified? Are there any alternatives to animal experimentation?

No one could say that animal testing is not useful because greatest discovers and treatments have been developed thankful to test on animals. However, many think that scientific must use all the technology available to medical purpose and try to avoid animal testing. In this essay we will discuss the advantages of testing on animals and some alternatives to stop it.

In the past, animal testing was supported because there was not advance technology to free use so scientific must prove drugs and chemicals on animals like monkeys, pig, rabbits which have almost the same features of humans to ensure that the medication were not toxic or dangerous and also cure for mortal diseases were found with those experiments. In spite of saving the human life millions of animals each year are killed after these experiments.

Nowadays, new technology could keep away animals from laboratories. All the information in the media and computer programs should be used by specialist to medical and chemicals purposes. For instance robots or simulator programs can help tremendously to obtain advances in solve these matters so animals each day would less demanded for experiments finding other ways which that products can be tested.

Other types of experiments must be created to preserve animal’s lives. Specializes people, Scientifics and computers can develop software together with all the characteristics to obtain new discovers. Consequently they will need recourses which government provides them avoiding tested on animals.

To conclude, testing on animals should be done only if they are not other methods to replace them. It is not fair to continue testing on animals for commodity.
