what is the meaning of this sentence?" jack can carry candor too far "...
is it a negetive sentence or ....???

I think this is referring to "candor" as straightforwardness, like he speaks his mind without hesitation. So for Jack to carry "candor" too far, it means that Jack can is sometimes to straightforward with people. For example, if I were Jack and people were talking loudly at the movie theaters, I would be yell at them! That's how Jack is taking things too far.
